Who can do it?
First Pitch for Kids 2024 is open to any child in Australia under the age of 18. Kids may apply as an individual or as a team with a sibling or (socially-distanced) friend. If teams are different ages, you must enter in the oldest students age group. Parents may help film and upload video. Please remember, this is a competition for kids, not adults.
Who created First Pitch For Kids?
Jim Schuman is the co-founder of First Pivot. Their company provides entrepreneurial education for primary and secondary schools across Australia. Yet, no venue existed for budding entrepreneurs in primary school to test out, share, or hone their entrepreneurial skills. Inspired by the hit show, “Shark Tank”, Jim created First Pitch For Kids.
